LIVING > FROM A WALL TO A HOME
Questioning the way we live today and the traces we leave behind us, I worked on a set of modules to provide worthy houses and dignity in case of emergency (natural & economic disasters, war..).
The modules are linked to different functions, and can be easily closed and used as space divider when you don’t need them. A wall (initially made to divide) create here more fluent boundaries and leave space for new utopies : what if you could talk and eat with your neighbor just by unfolding the partition ?
Made from bamboo (cheap & sustainable) with a low loss of material, there are easy to be fold and send where we urgently need to host people.
open > kid(s) room > shelve > kitchen table and shelves > bench, shelves and adult(s) bed
folded > kitchen table and shelves > bench, shelves and adult(s) bed
folded shelve > open kitchen table and shelves
open > bench, shelves and adult(s) bed (left) > kid(s) room (right)
open > kitchen table and shelves – bench, shelves and adult(s) bed
